Default 1949 Ford

Changing the throw out bearing on a 1949 Ford three on the tree. Can’t find the clutch fork anti rattle spring. It’s just a small u shapped wire that holds the clutch fork tight from rattling. No one sells it anymore. Is there a replacement for the original?

This is an old thread link but it covers all the late 40s & early 50s clutch throw out set ups.

This link illustrates what they look like.

If you can't locate one by google search then contact Fred at Southside Obsolete. His handle on hear is barnfind08 if you want to contact him by PM. He also has a website.

Those are the later types. They are not the same as the 8A part.
