Tried to embed the youtube video link, but was unsuccessful. Here's the URL to a video of it running.

Whats the deal with the rochester two barrell carb? Do you run a adapter to make it fit the intake. The rochester 2 G is a great little carb .
Just curious would like to run one on a project here at the shop. |

Looks and sounds great. My only comment is the slow idling, of a new engine, can have a VERY negative impact.

Looks like a Canadian (aluminum) intake off an 8CM or the Canadian equivalent thereof. The 2GC will bolt up on a Merc manifold but you need to open up, or at least taper, the riser passages in the manifold. I notices he has a PCV setup as well.

Ron, I know your position on running them with no load on an engine stand, so I jammed a piece of 2X4 between the flywheel and the housing to add some drag!
