VHT cast grey. I heat the manifold up before spraying. For best results, buy a new manifold an use it.
They really make the engine look nice. |

I just used the spray paint available from the local auto parts dealer. The manifold paint needs to go though a heat cure cycle. Use your gas fired barbecue. The instructions on the one I used called for heat-cool cycles of increasing temperature.
Don't forget the barbecue sauce.

x3 on the High Temp Cast Blast. Snyder's carries it or you can get it online.
Cure it on the gas grill, not in your house oven... trust me on that.

POR15 high temperature paint is the best and lasts for a long time unlike any aerosol paint imo.

Does them paints work on "been on the engine for years manifolds" or does the manifold need to be bare, rust free metal, like new or sandblasted?

I have only used the Cast Blast on manifolds that have been sandblasted and cleaned up.
