Default Loose headlight and taillight lenses

How do I tighten up the lenses in the headlights and taillights? The cork gaskets between the light buckets and the lenses are in place but there is space between the lenses and the SS trim rings so the lenses "float" around. It almost seems there should be some sort of gasket between the lens and the trim rings.
Any solutions will be appreciated.

Dab of silicon to hold the lens to the rings?

The cork gasket goes between the light body and the lens

I remember when I had my 1937 Ford that there was a rubber ring that went between the stainless cover and the glass lens. And then the cork gasket went between the lens and the tail light housing.

That's where it is. Maybe 2 cork gaskets per light would work?

That's what I was thinking, rubber gasket between lens and SS ring. Problem is, I can't find such.

Go to auto parts store, buy some gasket material and cut out your own gaskets after laminating gasket material to the needed thickness. Cut out the big inner hole and screw holes in the gasket before you cut around the perimeter. ACE HARDWARE also has some cork material.

I could be wrong, but on a '37 and likely through '39, it isn't the rims that hold the head lamp lenses in place against the cork seal, but rather several small brackets that attach the lens to the headlamp bucket.
