Default Mustang stuff

Totaly new to this. What would the going rate range be for a high output 5 L mustang motor, five speed trans, 8 inch rear end, boxed model a frame and solid axle front end with associated bars etc be worth? I know this is pretty vague but would appreciate thoughts. Engine runs good from what I am told.

Depending on condition, I would think a lot more than 3,000. Figure what it would cost you for individual pieces and that's what its worth.

You can get a Speedway Motors street rodders catalogue for free. Ask around your nieghborhood to see the going rate for the motor. If the seller has reciepts, its worth more. Will he start the motor for you? Does it have an oil presure gauge in it so you can watch? Who did the welding? Does it look cobbled, or nice? Is the shop clean and organized? Why is he selling?
