I have a friend who inherited a 1949 Buick Roadmaster Woodie Wagon, and he has asked me for help selling it. I am certainly not the best source for Buicks, but I’ll bet someone on here is! Any suggestions or recommendations for a sale?

You no doubt know that Buicks were not made by Ford and since this is the "Ford Barn" don't expect this thread to live very long. But while you wait it's demise any pics?

Fortunateson: Yep, however, I also know that many of our FORDBARN family dabble in other makes and models (truthfully, pretty sure that Ford is not the only automobile manufacturer, as my personal fleet will attest), but taking your comment in good humor ~ I’m hoping for some recommendations other than eBay, BaT, Hemmings, etc ~ insofar as pictures, my confuser and I have failed to negotiate the website requirements. Send a PM with your email and I’ll happily accommodate any interest.

Check the internet for any Buick clubs
There's always ebay, Craigs list, etc.

I’d start off at aaca and look around the Buick section. Particularly if it’s a stock vehicle in any good condition.

Thank you all for your generous sharing of information; I’ll meet this weekend with the owner family and provide them all available options.

For whatever it's worth, the attached link shows the value per NADA for a 1949 Buick Roadmaster Wagon. It is very dependent upon condition (as is always the case) but might give some idea of a starting point.
Good Luck, Dave https://www.nadaguides.com/Cars/1949...n-Wagon/Values |
