What are some of the ways you can tell between 1930 & the 1931 Ford coupe ??
Figuring the motor not original. |

The splash aprons on a '30 were two piece but started getting phased out in September. The front nose section was separate from the rest of the splash apron and spot welded to the fender. If it has an indented firewall with the fuel shutoff inside the engine compartment then you know that it is made after mid 1931. Like oldblue said, if the radiator shell is original to the car you could tell the difference.
