It should be for a 53. Don't know about other years - 52 maybe?

That what I thought but the one on my 53' Mercury begins with EAC....it looks the same. |

The 1043 is not good news for a Merc owner...seems to be IHC truck! |

Oh...the EAC number, like EAC 9510, is the Ford number, the list 1043 is the Holley number. All of that won't necessarily be on the carb itself in Ford usage.

Thank you for the chart, now I know why it was in the trunk of the car when I bought it...the good news is that I can strip it for parts if I ever needed them, as I doubt that there are too many IHC truck owners around that could use it. |
