Default gas tank install in a 41 ford sedan

I am in the process of installing a new gas tank (from Tanks) in my 41 ford 2 door sedan. My car already had the original tank removed along with the brackets. I purchased the bracket set and bolts from Bob Drakes. I'm not sure how the front bolt goes in or how the tank fits on the rear spring cross member.
I assume the front of the tank goes above the bracket, because the tank has caged nuts. I'm not sure if the spring goes between the bracket and bolt head or between the tank and bracket. Also I don't know if it is easier to install the tank in the rear brackets first or the front.I checked Vanpelts sales website parts drawings and the image isn't overly clear as to the order of the spring, bolt and bracket. Perhaps another Ford barner could post some pictures to help.
thanks
