1956 Thunderbird
I have an issue that a friend is going through with his 1956 T Bird. As you know that came with a continential kit. There is a lever on the bottom right to move the tire back and forth. He is moving the tire in the proper position but when he drives it the tire some times falls back in the open position. Is there a part that is not working to cause this ??? Any help or suggestions appreciated. Tom

Re: 1956 Thunderbird
Definitely a latch issue. When I push my coni back into position, there's a definite loud clunk!! It latches hard and has never unlatched during a drive.
