Couple of guesses, is it blowing erratically when pressed? then I would look for a bad connection at the bottom of steering column specifically the light switch connector . Is it blowing erratically when not pressed? Then I would look for a short anywhere from button down to bottom of column at light switch connector. Anyone else feel free to add.

I had the same problem , and discovered the brass bushing on top of light rod was deteriorated , its annoying but simple to repair. do some research on light rod removal.

Thanks for the suggestions! Yes, it blows erratically when button is not pushed. Continuity tester show a closed circuit (between wire end and frame) when I turn the steering wheel. I will try your suggestions.
Thanks! |
