The guidelines say that the window channel felt which is only on the rear part of the door windows on the Cabriolets is supposed to be "short pieces".
The one I got from Bratton's is a full long piece. It does work, but yes it has extra resistance which could eventually mess with my riser gears so I have to baby it up and down. So, does anyone know what short pieces really mean? I was thinking of cutting off the bottom 4 inches or so just below the second screw of 3 that I think I had on there originally, and not have it go all the way down? Don't want to put the door panels on twice if my window regulators give out.. thanks for advice. |
