Default 1947 Pickup Radiator Mount stupid Question.

I got my fathers pickup from my little brother and the front clip was already removed and frame has been painted. I am in the process of mounting the sheet metal for body work. Which set of holes do you put the mount on? The ones closest to the engine mounts. Any help would be appreciated.

For the V8, closer to the mounts. For the I6, closer to the bumper (the straight 6 is a longer engine).
