Default Mercury Trim Piece? Please help me identify this

Can someone please help me figure out what this piece is and what car it belongs to?
I thought possibly Mercury, but I haven't found it yet.
Thank you!
Kathy

There are probably some sort of letter/number combination cast on the back side of the part.

Post those up and I will see if I can be of assistance.

Picture is not clear enough to decipher needed information.

If you could post up the information,I will see what I can come up with.

Just a guess, but my first impression says maybe '52 to '54-ish Lincoln Capri "C" pillar trim ?

After googling some pictures, it looks a lot like the "C" pillar trim for a '55 Lincoln Capri 2 door hard top.

I thought it might be for the Capri, but couldn't find one with that piece. The numbers didn't get me anything either. I have another piece for a Capri and the design looked really similar. I'll see if I can post a better picture of it.
Thanks for helping!

Thank you!

Kathy
It appears to be lower quarter trim at and before the rear wheel opening /skirt. If I read the Casting No. correctly, BT is a LINC PN PREFIX.

A 54 CAPRI is pictured.
