Looks like a Hurst reverse rod for a Falcon 4 speed. 64 or 65. As I remember Ford did not use the style of retaining clip.

Boxcartom got it right. I just looked at the Muncie 4 speed for my 55 brand X with Hurst bench seat shifter and that is what it looks to be. Might fit other transmissions also.

there should be a number stamped to the rod give that to us and we can be sure it is a Hurst part.
