Re: Orignial 1934 mesurment needed
Given the way you're measuring in the picture you posted, I measured 14 1/4 inches from cross member to joiner.
13 1/2 inches from axle to joiner....

Re: Orignial 1934 mesurment needed
My 34 Fordor measures 13-1/2" from the web of the axle to the front of the joiner--
In haste, I had written crossmember instead of axle the first time--Sorry Old age setting in-------- Last edited by 34fordy; 10-06-2017 at 07:07 PM. Reason: screw-up |

Well, guess that pins it down to the nearest inch!

Web of axle to front of joiner on a 33 - 13 15/16 " .
Web of axle to front of joiner on a 34 - 14 1/16" . Much straighter line than crossmember to joiner . Plenty areas for this dimension to wander !!!!!! |

It is 14-1/2 from the web (inside) of the axle to the front of the joiner on my 33.
