radiator firewall- to -shell rods length, etc.
Have an original nice '31 s.s.shell which fits perfectly to a new Brassworks
radiator. The question is how long are the '31 support rods supposed to be ? Mine are 25 3/4" from inside dome end to radiator threaded end, with 1 1/8" long threads ( @ radiator end) . I could use another 1/8" to 1/4" of threads to get the radiator / shell top a little closer for more even hood alignment. I'm not sure if the hood is original but fits pretty well all around. |

If some one has original hood/radiator support rods, would appreciate dimensions for overall length and length of threads on radiator end to compare to what I have.

To the best of my knowledge mine are original and are 25 7/8'' long with 2'' long threads & my front nut is flush with the end of the rod.
