About a month ago, an early steering was found with what could be a serial
stamped on it. Two weeks ago another one was found. These are BOTH 2nd. style columns for "no bale" or "open bale" type light switches. First style with the small square Pittman arm shafts AND the third style WITH a bale are included in this question. The numbers found are "15346" and "26040". The numbers would be found at the BASE of the column on the TOP were the 4 bolts hold the lower bearing too the box. These could be serial OR quality control numbers that Ford would use,..similar to the "torque tube numbers". It only takes a minute to check your 7 tooth columns. Do you have any with numbers stamped on them? Thanks, Dudley https://www.fordbarn.com/forum/showth...bers&showall=1 |
