I can't tell where you're located.
In SF,Ca. there is a place called Bearing Agencies. I think that it's on 7th ST. It's a bearing specialty parts house. There's a pretty good chance that there's one in a larger city near you. I have a bearing book, it shows a lot of bearings by size and type. Just don't have time right now to go thru all this... PM me if you're interested Karl |

Walter, as Karl mentions, check for a independent bearing distributor in your area, there are a few around. Are you looking for a needle roller bearing type or the old New Departure / Hyatt type?

If you´re not gonna use it a lot you might get away with making a bushing perhaps ?

Bearing Distributor Inc. BDI or Applied industrial Technology. Just a couple of bearing supply houses.

If it's just a cart bearing, why not two smaller width bearings with a spacer in between?

google "roller bearing size chart" to calculate a part number. For example,

A quarter of an inch on each side is not a lot of room for bearings. Some of these type bearings are not caged but they are plain needle bearings. Where a caged bearing would be workable is if the center shaft doubles as the inner race with a thin shell outer race or the bearing support forms the outer race. Harley Davidson crank pin bearings are made like this but they aren't that long. This application might be hard to source in this day and age. A person could gang several together with hardened separator rings in between.

Click on some of these images that look close to what you want and you might find a supplier. Some of them look like the roller bearings in the Ford rear end and old Atlas lathes, which if I recall are the same bearing.

Thanks for the input. Seems as if I am going to try and just make a bushing for the wheel.
