![]() I am re-installing sheet metal on the chassis underneath motor and the battery tray. Does anyone have a suggestion for replacement of the anti-squeak tape originally used?

I use glass tape (has no adhesive on it). It's approx 1/32 thick, a bit pricey but available at most good glass shops which have been around awhile.

How about the old fashion friction tape. I looks like what was between tot sheet metal pieces on my 46 Coupe and what I plan to use when it goes back together.
