Looking for a good cleaner to clean my alum intake and heads. Something I can use that won't hurt the engine paint. Thanks

Gliptone makes a nice product for that - looks like simple green but you spray it on to a cool aluminum inrajws or head, let it sit for a few minutes, and then spray it off. Stuff looks like new. My old 40 coupe had an aluminum intake and even after 15 years it still looked new and I drove that car all over the place ...

I use this mag wheel cleaner available at autozone. Does a great job. I would test on an unseen painted area first but I have never had a problem.

Steve, I found a product locally here in Vermont at Bond auto supply called tec319. (technicians choice). Spray on, scrub and rinse. worked well on my heads. Ken
