Reproduction 1933-34 Ford gas tank cover
Has anyone used the reproduction gas tank covers? Do they fit right?

I've been told the gas filler hole isn't quite in the right spot. The guy who told me said he had to shim the gas tank to get it to line up.

It depends on who made it. Those from long-gone California Metal Shaping were perfect reproductions in all senses of the word.

As Flathead37 said I bought one and the filler hole needed to be modified because it wasn't in the right spot and the filler neck rubber grommet would not fit. So we made it right!
