Had to pull water pump to rebuild. Stone guard had to come off to allow space for radiator to be moved forward. As we all know the stone guard has a "L" shaped bracket on the bottom of it that slips behind the radiator shell. Tight fit. In order to keep bracket from scraping the radiator fins I fished some bell wire around the bracket through the screening to allow me to pull the stone guard forward and avoiding fin damage. Also put some newspaper behind stone guard and light bar to avoid scratches. do same to reinstall guard. Simple but works. Just sharing.
