Ford flathead Alum. oilpans are ready and few oilpan bolted on and "on the road.

Here few pics my own engines, my own production oil pan installed.

1) 1932 cabriolet 221cid (1937)
2) 278cid 59A italmeccanica engine

-5.5 - 6quarter oil capasity
-complete oilpan include dipstick with bracket, oil pump pick up (need to use 8BA style short oil pump.

now worked + one week with oil pan.
cut, weld,,.... Yesterday and today I have started to fill up with putty.

Wall thickness need to be 5-6mm before can make casting mould.

ready for primer and casting.

Primer painted and sanded down.

Black 2K colour is ready. In the Morning I still paint inside.
Tomorrow (Fri) I leave oil pan to Casting Company.

While castings are ready need to make JIGs for bolt patterns, starter hole and mounting.

what it include:
- all holes, mountings, threads made
- oil plug, oilstick complete installed, oilpump tube and screen

Machinery jobs done. I made own grinding machine to get end surface to right dimension (tolerance 10/100mm). Project has delay 1month, but today get all drilled ready and Tig welded dipstickmountings.


Too much work and used rather much money too. I havent calculate together all costs and used hours, but too much.


I decided that I sell only those what I have done (4 sold, 2 for me, 2 for sale) and need to continue working with hot rods and panhead hd.
