More photos from Niagara Falls
Not all car, but I figured the falls need some publicity too. Quite amazing.
These were cars and trucks I found interesting and but a fraction of what where there. 31 Sedan Delivery 31 Station Wagon. Look closely for the car seats in the back. Looked like original wood to me. Car seats in woodie. Pretty cool! Canadian AA. They all came with wood wheels, some information with the truck said. AA wooden wheel close up. Custom cabriolet? I don't know anything about it. 30 Phaeton driven from San Jose to the Lobsters and Lighthouses tour and then to Niagara Falls. The owner has driven the car over 100,000 miles! The car has air conditioning, a downdraft carb and a modern distributor that you cannot really see in this photo. Horseshoe Falls and a rainbow. A rainbow and the American Falls in the background. American Falls On the edge of Horseshoe Falls. |

Not quite right concerning the wooden wheels on the ''AA''. There was a whole range of different wheels available, depending on the market sold & buyers option. There are many here in NZ with steel disc types & all these were for the Model AAC which was a Canadian only truck chassis; many differences to the US AA in '28 '29. The cab is Canadian supplied but they did sometimes use the US Budd cab in 1928. These AAC chassis were exported throughout the Brit. Commonwealth with local cabs & decks added at sale which was the usual method to suit local requirements in all foreign markets. |
