Last week, our Model A Club did a fun tour to Mt. Baldy, located in the San Gabriel mountains. We drove surface streets to the base of the mountain, then traveled a less traveled route up to the top, at 4,600'. It is a nice Model A drive, not too steep, but a scenic and winding drive, with several opportunities for rest stops and photos. We had a great turnout, with 13 Model A's making the drive, and no one broke down. We had phaetons, tudors, roadsters, town sedans, coupes, and a cabriolet, so a nice mix of cars. For those of us with Mitchell OD's, it was a great opportunity to use that very useful 2nd OD gear on a lot of the pitches. A very nice tour! The photo below shows some of the group............

Great spot Mt Baldy! I grew up in Ontario and bought my 29 coupe there in 1959. Not sure I ever drove it up to the falls at Mt. Baldy though! Loved the picture of your cars!
