Spring weather arrives in late April on the south shore of Lake Erie --I'll fake it though and think spring next month.

Thanks for that, I was just sitting here at work thinking how miserable I am. That really did help.

Were suppose to be 54 / 32 in February here in Charlotte, but you guys keep sending those artic blasts down from up north. Suppose to be 3 tonight. I'll be heading to Lowes to pick up some heat tape to put on a customers pipes for tonight. I think the coldest in the 23 years down here was about 7, that was suppose to be the temp last night but it held up to 14. Can't take a chance on 3, that breaks lots of pipes down here. Things are not build like Wisconsin

If anyone here has a better reason for Spring to come, it's me. Acquiring Sarah last Nov with only a few runs down the street and back since, repairing/replacing things that I could do, Sarah has sat 99% of the time in the garage because of either weather or important repairs pending. But when I get her back from Larry's, when the sun is shining, I'll be running Sarah's knickers off her every chance I get.

I finally bought some side curtains for my 28 Phaeton, so now I can extend the Minnesota driving season from one month to two months.

Spring seems a long way off -14F this morning warming to 7F by 2. 3 foot of snow everwhere I look and icicles 10 feet long hanging off the house. I should be used to it lived in Central NY for 62 years now. If everyone else had not already moved out I might be able to sell a house and go to warmer weather. On the bright side when that first day of sunshine and 60 degree temps comes I get to ride around with no traffic just the usual cows crossing the road from time to time. But I will tell ya if I ever get my hands on that goundhog guy he is going to pay, come on spring.

From cabin fever to Spring fever in one day here. Two weeks ago I had three days of temps in the high 60, low 70s. Got out, cleaned the yard, noticed tulips and daffs coming up, buds out on the rose bushes. stupid me thinking Spring is here, pruned all the rose bushes....bad idea, real bad idea. Happens every year, the garden nurseries love me when it comes to selling rose bushes. I might just give roses this year a pass.

Only 2 more months til' spring here. We can still get lots of snow in May but doesn't stay long. I was so excited about the coming of global warming... I guess that good idea went by the wayside too.

Looking outside this morning, I would say another 3-4 inches of snow/ice combined. At least I still have electricity, internet and four lady friends with 4X4s....all is not lost!!!!
