Paint colors for SIMMMONS H/C Head and SWAN manifold

Would love to know the paint colors for the "SIMMONS" High Compression Head

and the Simmons "SWAN" Manifold.

Joop, I don't know the answer to your question but I have to say you have a nice collection of Simmons items there. I would like to eventually acquire the head and intake to go with my carb, just like you have there. My compliments.

I do own the Manifold and Carburetor but not the Head, still looking for one.

Carb runs great on my car and idle is just superb.

I don't know the correct color but I would probably paint them red. Red usually signifies performance. The original Winfield 7 to 1 heads were red . My dual updraft Trojan and Uni Flow intake manifolds are red. My Simmons carbs are all black except the alloy versions .

Shhh! Some people dont know that red motors automatically run 10 mph faster because of the color.

I have seen Model T Simmons heads that are black with gold color letters.
But would love to know the color combo for the A head.

I don't know if this is relevant but I had an assemble care from the '20s that had a Swan manifold on its Lycoming engine and the manifold was black.

I have a Simmons intake and 5 carbs of which 3 are restored....will sell but would like to keep and find a head to go with it....

My Simmons came in green, not sure if that was how it was born?

Ignore the distributor wiring, I now have the conduit
