I would use a motor meter or a thermo quail. The gauges available require you routing the cap tube all over the place to get it to the dash. In my opinion it's not needed when I can loook through the windshield to see the temp. I would use the dip stick for oil indication. The model a is not a fully pressurized system so an oil pressure gauge is not needed.

I have one of the temp gauges sold from the major dealers and it works nicely. Im pretty sure theres not much difference between it and the Sunpros you can pick up everywhere besides a pretty needle and faceplate. I also bought on of the water inlets with the gauge bung cast in so installation is easy an clean looking. Im running an original 26 chevy gauge for the oil. It reads up to 10psi and works like a charm. I prefer to know exactly what my engine is doing and the gauges are the way to go for that.

I think Bratton's sells a reproduction of the REX-A-CO gauges. Either that or look for a used set. Remember you need a 0-10 pound gauge for the oil. Bratton's has mounts for the steering column or below the stock dash. On the other hand, when the radiator gets too hot it sends out steam and when the oil pressure goes to zero the engine knocks soon stops. FYI, I don't run gauges on mine but after I finish everything else I may add a set.
