what purpose do the 4 brass tubes that stick up about a inch on top
of the carb, my carb is missing these? |

Not sure,the carb on my 62 Bird had them, the carb on my 65 does not.....the holes/tubes are vents for the float bowls.

I know the brass tubes are a standard size and can be bought at hardware stores or hobby shops, then cut to length. I have made them for these carbs. Very easy. Sal |
