160 AB&C Door handles
In reading some posts on Slant Window Fordors mention is made of "Plain" door handles on some models. All I've ever seen are the nice scroll style, could someone post a photo of the correct "Plain" ones. Thanks, Bob

Re: 160 AB&C Door handles
I think something was lost in translation. As far as I know, ALL slants had the scroll outside handles. The INSIDE door handles were of a "plain" type with a very plain, smooth round escutcheon.

Roadster62,
All slant window cars had the same inside door handles and eschuteons which are smooth not scroll, except for the 160A which had very long scroll handles only indigenous to this car. Dale Gosa. |

The 160A Std Slant 4 door had different inside door handles. The 160B Town Sedan and the 160C Deluxe (Blindback) shared the same inside handles with each other. Their are good drawing of both of them in the Judging standards as well as pictures in the hardware and trim book. Steve Becker Berts Model A Center |
