Default dist part testing

Hi Folks,

Just curious about testing some things. I am building up an original dist and would like to test a few things just to make sure they are good.

1-Lower plate with original wire. I did a continuity test and my meter beeped. I assume the wire is good to use.

2-Is there a way to test original style condensers with a meter? One was in the body-I assume it is from the 60's or earlier. Mind you I am an electrical dummy so if you post instructions follow the KIS principle.

Thanks,

Mike
