Default Looking for engine pictures

Vern Tardel and I are writing a how-to book on flathead rebuilding and modification. We need a presentable engine shot of each year ('32-'53/'54) either in a car/truck or on a stand. The included photo is the type we're looking for. This one is a '34 (with '32 heads) in an excellent tour-quality '32 Victoria. We'd like to have a '32 with a true '32 engine but haven't been able to turn one up in our area where most early Fords have been hot-rodded at least a little bit.

The file size for this image is 6361.11 KB, and measured 3264 x 2448 pixels before being reduced to fit here. E-files, in full format, can be sent directly to my e-mail account . . . [email protected]

We have a very modest photo-buy budget but I will negotiate with contributors on an individual basis. Photos used will receive a credit if desired and a copy of the final book.

Thanks in advance for any and all help.

Mike Bishop

Here's a restored late '32 engine, although except for the late oil pan it is representative of the majority of '32 V-8 engine compartments during the '32 model year. Everything in the photo is '32 Ford.

My restored 33 model B engine ready to be mounted. I will have more pictures after the engine is mounted if you want them. Manuel

Thanks for the response, David. Great-looking engine! Do you have an uncropped hi-res image you could send me? My publisher needs large files that they can size as needed.

Thanks, Manuel, but the book is about V-8 engines only. Nice looking four-banger, by the way.

Are you looking for any 'descriptive' style pics?

If you are looking for block information, the folks on this board helped me put together a great thread: https://www.fordbarn.com/forum/showth...5301&showall=1

I didn't ask permission to use the pictures off this forum though.
