1936 to 1939 Ford Horn Rod Swop

I was able to straighten the 4 prongs on my two horn rod assemblies. Removed the wire and now I want to move the good 1939 rod to the 1936 assembly. The rod is bent over at the top of the Handle and Horn Switch (part # 3616). How do I remove the rod without breaking off the bent over portion? Any tricks? Thanks, Bruce |
