Default shock link bolt removal

I picked up some usable shocks the other day. 3need the lick ball stud removed. I tried a Y bar after some Kriol. I tired pounding the stud with a nut on loose(Dumb idea.) Also pounding on the arm on the end to make the hole oblong. No go. heat next?

Hit the side of the arm where the stud bolts to the arm and back it up with an equal weight dolly and the ball and socket should pop right out. What you are doing is squeezing the taper and forcing the stud out. Shouldn't need heat or snake oil.
