Default Preserving the knowledge

Greetings everyone,

I just received news that yet another fellow Model A guy passed away. Bill Jones was a member of the Rogue Valley A's and an all around great guy. He will be sorely missed by his friends and family.

This brings to mind something that I have been thinking about a lot recently. Let's face it, the average age of the Model A enthusiast is not precisely in the first quarter century and good, knowledgeable people are passing away and with them goes knowledge that is lost forever.

I started http://www.restoreyourmodela.com with the idea of tracing my journey of restoring the '28 Business Coupe back to original. I would like to extend an invitation to anyone who is willing to write up an article about anything which deals directly with these cars and trucks.

The articles can be as long as you see fit to write and on any subject regarding the Model A Ford. This does not include street rods. So, if you have an interest in restoration, Model A engine performance, Fashion, the History of the time these cars were built and so on, please feel free to submit the article for review and posting on the site.

I would love it if Restoreyourmodela.com became an encyclopedia of all things "A" so that the future doesn't lose what we have now. Knowledge.

With regards,
