Default Rear seat floorboards finish - phaetons/tudors

I am hoping some phaeton and maybe tudor owners could tell me what is the correct finish used on the rear floorboards and curtain tray door on 28/29 phaetons. I know that Ford used a black material to finish the two front floorboards, but I have an original early 28 floorboard that appears to have the primary color on the rear side board and tray door. This kind of confuses me as I have personally seen Dave Lopes' fine point 28 phaeton and it had a black finish on the curtain tray wood. Maybe Ford finished the rear floorboards different ways. Tudors might be same as far as painted with the primary body color or black. Any pertinent comments would be appreciated.
