Tom, James Rogers & I know just about how far one of them will go without grease. (Johnson City, TN to Portsmouth, OH)

Yep, the ethanol washed out the grease.

This was on the 1930 AA I'm still working on. Notice the heat marks on the U-joint. Had to heat it red hot to remove it from the splines.

Tom, It's all your fault for using that damn 100% gas. Use E85 and you won't need no stinkin' grease because E85 = less BTU's = less H.P. = less wear. E10 is for sissies. Go E85. Corn mash and ethanol ain't just for whiskey anymore. Grease the politicians, not U-joints.
