Default Brakes Pulling

I have an isue with the brakes pulling on my 50Merc. The car pulls to the left. The brakes have been adjusted and were just installed before I bought the car. I checked the one side that was not grabbing and every thing looks fine including what appers to be a new wheel cylinder. Some one told me about the shoes being installed incorrectly would do this. Does the long shoe go on the front or the back [ front brakes ] or am I even on the right path? Any help would be great Thanks

The long shoe goes to the rear since those are Bendix style brakes. And if you decide to install new brake shoes you MUST do both sides. Jack it up, remove both drums and examine each wheel.

If your shoes are adjusted right and new wheel cylinders, take a look at the rubbber hose and see if its been pinched. What some guys do is pinch the line and have less to bleed and don,t get it on the floor. Some times you can get away with it but the line can be damaged.
