I got this real nice window garnish with some other parts that I bought which were mostly 49 Mercury and 46 Ford. This garnish was un-marked and I know it is NOT 49 Mercury or 46 Ford. It looks like a 35-36 Ford rear window garnish to me, but I am not sure. I would like to ID it if possible. It is stamped H-17123 on the backside. Any help is appreciatted!

It could be for a sedan. I'll have to look at the one I have. I bought it because the guy said it was a coupe, but it was not the same shape as the one in my coupe.

Just took another look at your pics and you have 4 holes top and bottom for screws and my 36 only has 3. I agree with Brian, it is not a 36 sedan rear window trim. Ed

Actually John, the way I stumbled across it was I used the search function on here, to try to answer a members question about removal of 39 mercury garnish, I knew the garnish on a merc was clipped in somehow, couldn't quite recall details....anyway, I found this post, so using the part number, googled it and discovered it was from the enemy! lol
