Hello, I am getting near the time to paint my 1928 Tudor sedan and am thinking of Arabian Sand Dark for upper and lower body/Copra Drab upper body back with French Grey pin stripe as stated in The Model A Ford Paint & Finish Guide 2nd edition for the 1928 Tudor Sedan.
I can visualize most things in my minds eye, but am having trouble visualizing the colors together with such small paint chips as examples. If anyone has a Model A with these colors on their car no matter what body style, would you please post photos for me? Thank you in advance. Jim |

Jim,
I painted my 28 special coupe the colors you stated above. I live in Lakeville, just south of Minneapolis about 25 miles. I am not quite finished with the restoration, but the painting is done. If you want to see it in person, send me a PM and let me know when you would like to see it. Warning! PPG Copra Drab Concept is the wrong color. Dupont ChromaPriemer is correct. Just a warning, as I learned the hard way. I don't have a good picture of the painted car as it is in the garage under sheets. Besides, pictures aren't all that great to show the colors in my opinion. Rusty Nelson |

My avatar is my 28 Tudor painted Arabian Sand and Copra Drab with French Grey reveals and stripe. Log on www.mafca.com and click on 1. Photo albums 2. 1928 vehicles 3. Closed models 4. Tudors. About the third picture down was posted by Glenn Johnson of my car on 6-10-06 Send me your e-mail address and I will send as many pictures as you want. It is an interesting color since in one picture it will look grey and the next picture it will look brown depending on the lighting. Richard Anaheim CA |
