1928 Brake Question
Did the very early 1928 Fords come from the factory WITHOUT front brakes? My father said he remembers adjusting the rear brakes on his 1928 sedan, but never doing anything to the front. He wanted me to throw this question out to you folks. Since 1928 was the first year for the A's, maybe Ford used some of the T parts on the early 28 cars. Could this be possible?
Thanks, Mike |

Re: 1928 Brake Question
The early 28's didn't have a seperate parking brake lining, but all Model A's had 4 wheel brakes.

Well the model A talked about here at least, the first model A was really 1903. I guess that one only had rear wheel brakes. |

Re: 1928 Brake Question
The early cars also did not have adjustable brake rods.

Re: 1928 Brake Question
Eh, win some lose some. At least I'm sure they had front brakes.
