Default Spring Carlisle

This week is the Spring Carlisle collector car swap meet. I happen to be living in Carlisle, PA this year, so I was planning on spending a day there. Does anyone know of any Model A Vendors or folks planning on selling stuff there?

Mac's won't be there, but there are quite few Model A guys, as well as a lot of folks with miscellaneous stuff and old parts. Surely worth going, and yes, it's not like it was. See you tomorrow-wear good shoes, bring water, layer up clothing and smile.

I did a quick walk through tonight before the rain hit... as everyone was covering stuff up. Tons of stuff... but not necessarily stuff I need or want.

There was one guy selling Lucas tires for $99... but I don't think I want Vietnamese tires on my truck...

I'm also looking for other stuff... non-model a type stuff.... like Shell fuel cans, old 12" wire spoke wheels. VW type 1 cooling shroud sheet metal, and model a stuff like a pair of wings for my moto meter, a Walker A-17080 jack & handle, air pump... stuff like that.

anyway... I may get back out Friday morning...

We drove up from Virginia Thursday night and spent 9 hours walking the grounds on Friday: I bought a turkey leg and a sunburn, and some stuff I didn't need. The weather was beautiful and the wife and I had a blast. Lots to look at in the car corral too. We'll go again next year even tho there was not much A or T stuff, and even less Hudson stuff.

I was able to get a real nice set of 28-29 front fenders(left one welled , right one not) for a good price . One had original paint and will need very little work to go on my A . I believe it came from a Hot-rodder.

I can't wait for Hershey. I went looking for A parts for customers and couldn't find any of what I was looking for.

We go for the fun of it. We'll be at Hershey, but not sure about the All-Ford yet.
