Default Re: Wrong E-Brake Handle from Snyder's?

The handle that "looks like" the ratchet plate is installed upside-down, is the style that is used on the Deluxe Phaeton and Deluxe Roadster.

The ratchet plate is not on upside-down. Note that the pawl is in contact with the teeth on the ratchet plate. If it were reversed, the pawl would not contact the teeth. This configuration allows the handle to be in a lower position.

I have an original one of this style that has been restored and chrome plated, in excellent condition. I purchased it at Hershey several years ago thinking it was correct for my 1930 Town Sedan only to find out that it was incorrect for my use. I can't return it, so it is available for sale. $150 includes shipping to a USA address. [email protected]
