Default 1936 rumble seat access

what would be the correct way?

bumper then fender step then open the lid? hop from there and hope you land right?

any way i imagine it seems really awkward.

getting out? i would probably have to crawl clear & then roll down

the rear quarter.

there must be a proper sequence in the Owners Manual.

edit: did some models have a trunk lid instead of rumble seat? i forgot to investigate that, so while we're here . . . .
