Years ago I bought a Exhaust Manifold from Snyder's which was advertised as Porcelain coated. Is now the same with approx. 16,000 miles on it! I didn't check to see if they still have that product!

I always tell people to buy the ceramic coated manifold from Snyder's. It costs $65 extra, but when you factor in your cost to buy the paint, your time to apply it, and the high quality of the ceramic coating – plus the fact that the ceramic coating is applied inside the manifold as well as outside – to me it seems well worth the cost.

Looks nice. I have read good things on Mopar forums about Slip Plate on manifolds. Apparently it makes a nice dressing on master cylinders as well.

It has been many years and the information may not be in the current revision but if I remember correctly the use of finishes for manifolds was addressed in the judging standards. It did not say the finishes were correct but that they were acceptable.
