One thing there wasn't a Custom Deluxe and a Custom. It was Custom Deluxe or Deluxe. In 1949 it was Ford Custom and Ford.The Customs & Custom Deluxe out sold the standard versions. Lots of standard "Deluxe" models were sold to fleets like police cars and Military cars.
