Pulled up beside a Lamborghini (Sp) at a stop light in my '29 Tudor, gunned the engine, and gave them the eye, but the two dudes in suites wouldn't even look my way
I`d race against any modern sportscar
Race should be 3 legs.
One today and one more each 20 years..
Wow - kind of unfair as my car has got 80 years advantage in streetracing

...or maybe he decides distance and i decide the route???

If i loose, i will buy a Fiat 126

My best friend and I use to go orange grove cruising in his '26 T tudor. Just haul'n a$$ between the trees. He was a policeman and sometimes his cop buddies would get drunk (off duty of course) with us and we would head for the groves..........

I am a electrician and one day I drove my Roadster to work, because the mornings where beautiful. my Forman came up to me and said I had to go to another job. so I loaded up the rumble seat with my tools and off I went. that was a fun work day, getting paid to drive my roadster!

I let a Navy and an Air Force veteran ride in the '29 Coupe. Oh how I abused that sweet ride. lol

My '28 roadster pickup is a working truck so have hauled just about everything in it. The most unusual cargo was a windmill! It had a 10' fan and I separated the fan and tail from the gear head split the fan in 1/2 and stacked them all in the bed. There were pieces hanging out from all three side and over the top. I got it all home safe but ripped a hole in the top.

I just added a photo of me using my 1934 phaeton as a parts hauler.
The cars in the street and the parking lot, across the street, are the cars, you see now, at car shows.

I had my 30 Tudor since I was a junior in high school. Used it drag the baseball field before a game at least once, it had a trailer hitch on it at the time. This would had been about 1966.

Not sure if this is improper but a club member of ours died a couple years ago and they hauled his casket to the cemetery in the back of his 30 pickup.

My only abuse so far is, on the way to a car show fifteen miles away, trying to keep up with a friend with his 49 Plymouth at speeds reaching fifty MPH on back roads. I was praying for stop signs...LOL.

Not my car, but a friend's. Perhaps we can include a car games event like this at the next national meet. I think passing the mud puddle test should be a requirement for the Henry Ford Award... Just to make sure engine, clutch, and rear axle were restored properly... Henry would approve.

In the obverse, the finest hours for my 30 Cabby is the two parades in DC wherein I carried a US. Medal of Honor recipient each time. What a thrill for me!!! These guys are regular real people, but still to have one riding with me and chatting was such a fine time.

Back in the late 50's, my Dad use to sometimes "borrow" my 31 Fordor to deliver mail on his rural route. (No, it wasn't RHD)

Model A's will go places some jeeps will have a tough time going. The tall narrow tires seem to help. I had a pair of Knobby Allstate tires on the back of the coupe in 77 when when we had a 10 inch snow. I had no problem driving in the snow.

I outran the tornado that happened in Oklahoma City/Moore, Oklahoma last spring when we were on our way back from the Museum opening. Then also outran two more tornadoes inbetween there & the Texas state line. Never been more scared/driven so far. Glad to say the old thing stayed together.

I use my 31 ccpu to haul garden mulch and compost, as well as anything else that needs hauling. After all, it's a truck, darn it.
