Sympathy and prayers to the family and friends. So tragic!

My condolences also. It seems like the Model As that I've seen photos of that have been wrecked I recent years, indicate that these cars to indeed hold up pretty well structurally. So not running well installed seatbelts seems pretty risky. One of the first things I did was to install seatbelts in my daily driven A.

Sad to hear about this accident. My wife and I, spend a lot of time traveling and site seeing in our '30A Coupe. I just installed seat belts for both of us, but there isn't a whole lot of steel and bracing in a Model A to over come a new modern vehicles incoming force- car or truck. We all have to be watching other vehicles actions, all of the time.
Our condolences to the couples family and friends.

Very sad day. Betty and I knew them well, when we lived in Houston. Wonderful couple. He was a fellow Texas Aggie, and I will feel honored to answer "here" when his name is called at Muster.

Please pass on to your friends and colleagues that this Yankee is praying for the family and friends of those killed in that horrible accident. If it's any consolation, the first thing I'm doing this spring is installing seat belts in my coupe. I've already ordered them from Snyder's. Based on what I've read in the past few days, I'm not the only one doing this by a long shot. If their loss saves lives, it's not a total waste.

Very sad to hear, condolences to all concerned...

I know people feel we have too many cameras, speed humps & roundabouts over here, but they do slow things down. I visit the States quite often and the sheer speed of the traffic and the incessant tailgating and other driving habits are quite scary...

You are so right, and it gets worse each year. Tailgating won't get the person there any quicker, but you see it all the time.

My condolences to friends and family of the deceased.
I attended Aggie Muster at A&M when my grandnephew was remembered; very moving indeed.

Richard, I understand the funeral was today out in Humble. Did you get to attend?
