Lose the soundtrack and you might have something.
Nice little glimpse of Paul Howard though...

Thanks for the heads-up 41panelmark,

Official site here: http://www.atomichotrods.com/Atomic_...%28DVD%29.html

The subject matter looks like it is pretty cool. If the trailer is anything like the 60 minute movie, then I have doubts that I could handle it. The music by The Scrapers is not quite like I expect a lot of 'Barn'ers have going in the garage.

I think it's been out since 2011, waiting for reviews...

Here's the storyline, copied from IMDB:
Storyline

Join Hot Rod Builder and Award Winning Filmmaker Brian Darwas, as he sits down and talks the world's top engine builders and fabricators about the engine that pioneered a movement, The Ford Flathead. Learn speed secrets from Vern Tardel. Get an in depth look at the build of of two high powered Flathead motors by Mike Herman (H&H) and Ronnie SanGiovani. Hear the stories that inspired Ryan Cochran to begin one of the most popular Hot Rodding networks in the world today, and ride along with Vern Hammond and Jack Carroll of The Burbank Choppers in their Flathead powered, traditional Hot Rods! Written by Atomic Hot Rods

I have that one. I've watched it a few times and enjoyed it each time. If you don't like the open music, I'll just say its not a precursor for the rest of the dvd. But expect a little hotrod vibe.

My 35 Three Window Coupe engine build is featured in this movie - the blown flathead that Ron San Giovanni was shown building - sitting under that hood of the Coupe in my avatar

Dave Simard did all the external engineering , fabrication and final assembly of this engine - he is an absolute perfectionist!

I'll have to watch it again. Yeah twist my arm. By the way I have no gain or any affiliation at all, but liked the dvd. I just enjoyed it personally.

This thread reminded me that I have wanted to buy that DVD. Brian has a special on at this time for all 5 of his DVD's for $99.00 postage paid to your door so I bought them all. Thank you for reminding me. Bill
